BRAK & ZORAK - RARE RESIN MODEL - SPACE GHOST VILLAINS - BARSOM - HANNA-BARBERA CARTOONS Hey'toon-heads: it's Brak and Zorak, those feisty villains who often hassled "Space Ghost" over the years, recreated in resin figure form. The tiki-faced cat creature and his mantis-like pal were created by sculptor, Barsom Manashian over 16 years ago in homage to Hanna-Barbera's classic cartoon characters. This seldom seen set was released in the mid'90's by Barsom's GK company, Simian Productions, with probably not 20 kits ever cast into reality. Both are terrific sculpts, accurately capturing their cartoon counterparts in crisp contour and sharp detail. They're designed so that one figure can be seated at the console, while the other sits in an interview chair, and both are interchangeable. Kit components are flawlessly cast in solid off-white resin, courtesy of Mark Brokaw at Earth Bound Studios, who produced the piece for Simian when it first premiered. Also included is a 5 stretch of thin metal wire (supplied to create Zorak's antennas), and two cartoon drawings of the characters printed on color papers. Hanna-Barbera Supervillains Brak and Zorak.
