Czech Master Kits, more commonly known as CMK, has been one of the Czech Republic's contributions to modeling since the mid-1990s. Originally it focused on production of resin cast kits but later production expanded and a range of resin detail accessories, detail sets, white metal accessories together with modelers' tools and aids was introduced. In addition, CMK also publishes monograph books focusing on interesting subjects which contain detailed scale drawings as well as original photographs and color profiles. CMK company is well known to most modelers as producers of very high quality resin kits and etched brass conversion and detail sets for vehicles and aircraft in all scales. They have been a very early contributor to the small scale armor community and known as one of the best companies out there. Though the mortar Gerat 040 Karl Morser was self propelled, with regard to his heavy weight (120 tons) it was necessary to disassemble it into several parts, in order to enable in at longer distance transport to overcome bridges above streams. It was assumed that normal bridges will be destroyed and transport will be realized on provisional bridges. The individual parts were loaded on Culemeyer multi-wheel trailers towed by half-track Sd. For simplifying and speeding-up the long distance transport a preliminary discussion with RZA Berlin took place on October 14, 1939 concerning the possibility to transport the Gerat 040 Karl Morser to longer distances by railway.

With regard to the weight and dimensions of the mortar two 5-axis bogies with hanger arms were chosen. The production of the trailer was discussed with the firm Linke-Hofmann in Breslau, which eventually manufactured the trailer according to project RhB. Some bogies with normal gauges were modified in September 1941 to the gauge used in the Soviet Union. During transport the Gerat 040 Karl Morser was suspended on the hanger arms with tracks elevated to top position.

The barrel was tipped to horizontal position and piled into rear position of the recoil, where it was locked. The telescopic hydraulic jacks made possible a smooth loading and unloading of the complete Gerat 040 Karl Morser. The Gerat 040 Karl Morser loaded in this way corresponded to the clearance profile I. During running of the trailer without the mortar the two 5-axes wagons were interconnected by a connecting bar and the hanger arms were shifted into each other. For assembling and dismantling the loading equipment an auxiliary folding traveling crane with 7 tons lifting capacity was used.

Empty weight of bogies: 36 tons. Weight of hanger arms: 29 tons.

Empty weight of suspended Gerat 040 Karl Morser: 115 tons. Total weight of the set of wagons: 180 tons.
