BERNIE Wrightson Zombie Monster Resin Model Kit 1/6 BURY CHRISTMAS Side Show

This is Bernie Wrightson's "Bury Christmas, " a hideous hunk of rare resin, ready to build, paint and display. The piece was released 15 years ago by Sideshow as part of their first wave of limited edition figure models, prior to the company concentrating on mass produced toys and higher end collectibles. Based on designs by Wrightson himself, this demented diorama depicts a rotting corpse thrusting out of its snow-covered burial site to retrieve the roses left for him at his gravesite. The model was sculpted by Mat Falls, who delivers a blueprint accurate rendition of the classic Wrightson zombie - a nasty, wickedly detailed, animated figure, that's perfectly placed within a well balanced cemetery setting.

Cleanly cast in solid off-white resin, the model is 1/6 scale, measuring 7 1/2" tall x 11" wide x 8 1/2 deep. Out of production for a decade and a half, Sideshow's Bury Christmas diorama is no longer an easy piece to dig up.
