Here is a snowbound built and painted 1:6 scale resin kit sculpted by Ray Santoleri depicting the blustery opening scenes of James Whale's sardonic horror classic The Invisible Man (1933). This rare kit released in 2002 by Monsters in Motion conveys the feel of the establishing shots of the mysterious wrapped stranger trudging through a blizzard, the bottom of his trenchcoat drifting upwards with snow up over his ankles. The added touches of snow plastered to the "Ipsing" sign and layered on the fence posts adds to the realism of this outstanding representation in resin of one of many memorable moments from this Universal horror classic. This kit was painted by one of the most accomplished model builders in the country, Damien "the boss" Turner.
Just a "heads" up if you should have a kit that you need built and painted, the boss is your best bet. See my other listings for other examples of his model building prowess, and let me know if you have any kits that you would like him to build for you.
