This model represents the US Navy version of the largest of the personnel carriers, carrying 180 troops and a crew of 24 (3 Officers and 21 Other Ranks). Later vessels could carry 210 fully equipped troops.

The American versions favored the higher built Fo'c'sle (although some US vessels did have the lower type) along with some other minor variations. In service from 1943, they saw action on every amphibious Allied landing from then until the Korean War. This is a superb waterline model built by master model maker Dan Taylor measuring 650mm in length. Our kit comes with a comprehensive instruction booklet with painting illustrations in color, a sheet of Brass Frets that includes gun shields, gun sights, etc. Brass Rod and a full set of optional decals.

We also produce a Bridge crew; FIG91, Oerlikon Gun crew (2sets); FIG92 as well as troop sets FIG47, FIG67 (Army) and FIG68 (Marines) that compliment this model. These models are imported from Milicast in the United Kingdom and are first quality. That said, I pay mine and if your country has them it is your responsibility to pay yours. I refuse to penalize good customers for this-I simply block bad ones from purchasing my goods in the future.
