Ultra rare resin model from the best resin maker (Scalecraft -Guido Fieuw architect) of the world. What you see is what you get, except the painted ermine white mock-up which is just as display to show the finished model, which is fantastic detailed. It is not included in the sale. You can add the steering wheel from a Lotus Elan from Tamiya and put other details such as the gear lever and so on.

Let your imagination go to copy the Cortina racing you want to reproduce. Jim Clark, Sir John Whitmore, Alan Mann... This is an original transkit and no copy. There are no distorsions because the resin is very thick.

Instructions are not 100% correct (door handles are molded on the body and not apart). This is the Lotus Cortina non-aeroflow made from 1963 to 1965. Later model has larger front grille and air vents in the roof pillars.

The flash on the sides is leaf green color. There are no headlamp lenses so you need to take them from a Revell or Esci Escort kit. I bought 5 from them.
