Resin Diplaucalus Model kit from Action Hobbies

This is a corrected listing upon receiving information from the actual producer of this beautiful kit. It's produced by Action Hobbies. It's a very well done rendering of the prehistoric salamander, Diplocaulus. This kit includes a large, well detailed base that is just over 15 long. The animal, itself, is just at 14 from nose tip to curve in the tail.

It's well sculpted and looks like a water dwelling amphibian with loose skin folds like the kind you might see on a Hellbender or Giant Japanese Salamander. There are two front limbs that need to be attached, a mold release tab on the nose area that will need to be removed but, otherwise, this kit is ready for some serious wet-look airbrushing.

Great and unusual fun for the lover of the more esoteric'prehistorics'. All proceeds from this, and all my current and future listings will go to help a friend who will be going for a bone marrow transplant.
