It was cast and produced by the legendary Mr. John Wright of New Zealand. I'm not sure of the scale but it will be about 18 inches tall when assembled and painted.
As usual his casting is very good, but there is one minor flaw on the back of Vampirella's body. There is a raised place that starts at about half way between the bottom of her hair and her waistline and extends to the bottom of her legs and is about 7 long. See pictures 5,6, and 7 to see this raised area. It is raised more in the middle than in the rest. This might make some people think that this was not made by John Wright since the casting on his kits is usually flawless but I do know for sure that it is from him because I bought it directly from him many years ago.
I suspect that this raised area resulted when he took it out of the mold but I can't say for sure why the raised area is there but it is not very bad and it will just have to be sanded down before painting it. It definitely is not a crack. It would be no big deal for an experienced model kit builder to correct, which you should be if you are going to assemble and paint this kit.It has been in my closet with many other resin model kits that I never got around to assembling and painting and never will. It's time to clean out the closet and be realistic with myself. As I said earlier you should have model kit building and painting skills if you are going to attempt to assemble and paint this kit.
Needed to assemble and paint this kit is not to be included with this kit. This kit is one of his larger kits of Vampirella. They are usually about 14- 16 inches. There are many recasts of his kits out there but to find an original one does not happen very often.
