XENOMORPHUS REX Huge Alien resin kit by Netherworld/Paul Komoda. ULTRA RARE
Ultra Rare UNBUILT out of production 1/6 Alien resin kit. In 1993 Artist Paul Komoda sculpted this very large Alien kit for his company Netherworld. This was probably the most talked about & wanted kit in The mid 90's. For many Alien fans this was "The Holy Grail" kit! Less than 50 of these were ever produced.
Some copies were cast years later but, the new molds lasted only a couple of kits. This one is The ORIGINAL first release kit from 1993 with parts (tip of the tail, tongue & teeth) cast from sterling silver!
The version done with new molds was all resin. Giger style base is full of intricate detail; Dead Predator, victims, babies etc... Diameter of the base is roughly 45 cm/18 inches. Dome in The middle is cast from translucent resin and can be lighted from underneath.Original light fixture is included. I have added some build up pics found online in the gallery..
